Rebecca Boice, AMFT

Rebecca is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute, Berkeley. Her clinical experience includes working with both elementary-aged students and their families as well as adults receiving care in a hospital setting. The foundation of her approach is client-centered and trauma informed. She utilizes Motivational Interviewing, play-based interventions, expressive art therapy, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness based coping skills to support the therapeutic process.

Rebecca brings her unique experience from her previous career as a chef to her therapeutic approach as she continues to develop ways to incorporate the culinary arts into therapy; be it cooking as a mindfulness practice or meal planning as a way to improve communication skills and foster stronger relationships and overall well being.
